Moxie is a radio presenter, label head, compiler, promoter and, of course, DJ.
As a radio DJ, she’s held a number of residencies – the most prominent and lasting her association with NTS Radio, which began a month after it launched and continues to this day. Her label On Loop is now 10 years old, and she was also nominated for Best Resident DJ at DJ Mag’s Best of British Awards in 2019. We had a wide-ranging discussion, which included discovering DJing via an after-school club, her role as a female promoter, how she prepares for shows, and advice on how to get ahead in a notoriously tough music industry.
